Lourence "Gunner" Ilagan's signature dart pins by Monter Darts

Finally, I got my set of Lourence Ilagan's signature pins. I have been desperately looking for a set since I got to try one last May. Monster dart pins are actually made in England but were designed in Japan. The "Gunner" is being sold locally at around Php 4,500.00 but I got mine for a bargain. It's not actually brand new but it's just right for my budget. I've got this urge to collect dart pins which are designed for our Filipino players. Well, we only have two as yet but for sure more Filipino signature players will emerge soon.
My next plan is to purchase Freddie Deen's signature pins by Unicorn. This is now considered rare since Unicorn has already stopped producing this several years ago. If you know someone who sells one please do leave a message in the comment portion.

  1. It is nice to know that another Filipino has a signature dart pin. The last time I saw Mr. Deen's pin was in COD Cubao maybe 10 or 11 years ago after attending a tourney. It was also the first & last time that I saw Mr. Deen in person glowing in his Unicorn uniform. My interest in darts has awaken from a deep slumber. Hopefully I can start playing again & begin my hunt for my next dart pin.

  2. Thanks for visiting my site,ot3pch4n! It's indeed a different high to know that our fellow filipino darters getting noticed by sponsors and signing them up to promote their dart products. Freedie Deen opened the doors for this, Lourence Ilagan is paving the way..For sure, more Filipino darters will get noticed and become signature players. Hope to see you in one of the tournaments! God Bless!

  3. Hi sir! I hope you're doing fine. I forgot to mention that I am in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Of all places in the world, I guess I got lucky last night for finding a 22gram Freddie Deen III dart pins in a small shop near the billiard hall where I frequently play before . I wasn't really planning to buy any pin when I decided to drop by there. I was hoping to find a John Lowe similar to the ones I have back home. I saw Mr. Deen's pins behind Paul Lim pins that I initially wanted to check. I will share some pictures when I reach home tonight. Have a great day & God bless.

  4. Wow!Congrats on your rare find, sir! I've been wanting to own a set of the late Freddie Deen's unicorn signature pins. I actually found a pre-owned pair last year but the price was prohibiting. I hope I'll be as lucky as you to find one. Anyway, great if you can share pictures...I would love to publish them here. God Bless!

  7. I don't mind if you post the pictures. I was really wondering how come nobody seemed to notice those darts & a lot of Pinoys are playing here. Maybe they are just unaware of the value of Mr. Deen's dart nowadays. Anyway, good luck on your search sir. I guess for me I was just in the right place at the right time. If I do find another one here, I'll immediately notify you. God bless.
